Have you ever thought why loving yourself is so hard? Or why you’re so focused on your insecurities? Maybe even wondered why you’re so insecure of yourself and always comparing yourself with others?
What if I told you that no one really cares about your insecurities? This might be hard to digest but everyone is insecure of themselves. You just don’t get a chance to see their insecurities…or you may have seen them but didn’t think about giving them another thought as you were being harder on yourself.
This might be the hardest part when it comes to loving yourself, the fact that you need to learn to accept and love your own insecurities/imperfections. Once you’ve managed that, other people's words and what they think of you won’t bring you down because you know how you see yourself and are proud of who you are. Now, I know what you’re thinking. This is easier said than done but you need to try and see your strengths. You need to realise that you were made to stand out not fit in. You are your own person and you should NEVER change yourself for other people. If they don’t like you for who you are then, that’s their loss. They just let one amazing person walk away from their life.
Here's a little piece of advice. Stop comparing yourself to girls/guys on social media or to the ones that you walked past this morning. Why do you want to be like them? Why do you want to look like them? You are you and that’s unique! Imagine how boring the world would be if everybody looked the same and was perfect? It’s safe to say that we all would get tired of it. So, be the limited version that you are. There is only one you in this world.

Last but not least, I would like to remind you that no one is perfect, and that you are more than enough and worthy of everything good that comes into your life. You deserve happiness!
