The vegan Swedish Christmas dinner.

Christmas is just around the corner and surrounded by the traditional meatballs, turkeys, hams and chickens you might - or might not but probably should - come to realize how centered the traditional Swedish julbord is around food made by animals. Besides the VERY obvious main course being a literal piece of meat. Egg, milk, and butter are present EVERYWHERE. Combined with judgmental aunts and uncles questioning “why don't you eat meat?” Christmas can be experienced as a very stressful holiday in which the majority of the family feast on the endless buffet, while you get a sallad.
